We rode on a steam train
Essex, Connecticut, is one of just a few destinations to see and ride on an operational steam train. And since our toddler son LOVES trains, we took him on the Essex steam train for a ride up the Connecticut River.
He absolutely loved it! Word on the street is, for the right price, you can also have a romantic dinner date on board the train. 😉

An audiobook I’m thoroughly enjoying
“I don’t know where we’re going but I know exactly how to get there,” Ren, an expert tracker mentioned in The Lion Tracker’s Guide to Life (Ch. 4, 4:05) said as he determined the lion he was tracking had picked up its pace. Author Boyd Varty tells several of his pivotal stories that took him from the tracker life on a South African land preserve to globally-renowned life coach and speaker. This book is 100% worth a read or listen, and so is Boyd’s interview on the Tim Ferriss Podcast.
