An awesome show I discovered
I watched a few episodes of House of David on Prime, and so far it’s really good. Biblically and historically, it’s quite accurate, and the life of David is captivating to begin with so seeing it on screen with good acting and only mandatory drama is awesome. I highly recommend this show.
Austria goes to World Cup
Austria qualified to go to the soccer World Cup this year, and will compete in the US, Canada and Mexico, as these three countries are co-hosting the WC. You probably know already I’m quite fond of Austria so this is exciting!
Austria has qualified for the WC several times but not since 1998. Another noteworthy year was 60 years prior, when in 1938, Austria qualified but withdrew after the country was politically annexed by Nazi Germany, where much of the team joined the German national team.
I’m going to try to go to see them compete this year.
Show and Tell
Are you smarter than a kindergartner? My son is in Pre-K and has to take something from home to school each week and show it to the class. Each item must fit into a gallon-sized bag, and before revealing it, he gives three clues to the class to try and guess what it is.
- It’s an animal.
- It has round ears.
- It wears white gloves.
