November 19 — Chess with Ants, Master of the mind, Agentic showdown, Show and tell

n8n vs. OpenAI AgentKit

In just under two weeks, Dec 2, I am co-leading a “showdown” between n8n automation platform and OpenAI’s AgentKit – a demo to illustrate the strengths and weaknesses, similarity and differences, between these two platforms. If you’re in the Stamford area, feel free to register here and join us on Dec 2.

Your mind is not your master

What a concept, huh? Our pastor, JD spoke this past Sunday about wrong masters, political party, the new trend, social belonging. But the only master for our mind – if we can have a master for the mind – is truth.

Listen on YouTube from this point for a thorough, Biblical breakdown of why we shouldn’t trust our mind as our master.

Show and Tell

Are you smarter than a kindergartner? My son is in Pre-K and has to take a toy to school each week and show it to the class. Each toy must fit into a gallon-sized bag, and before revealing it, he gives three clues to the class to try and guess what it is.

  1. It’s got a stick.
  2. You lick it.
  3. It’s very cold.

Queen Takes Queen

Ant Chess: a parasitic queen ant tricks a colony into killing their own queen. This is a bit morbid. The invading queen sprays a pheromone onto the resident queen, tricking the worker ants (the resident queen’s children) into killing their mother, the queen ant. Then the invading queen assumes the role and lays her own eggs that will be raised by the duped colony.
