September 10 — France’s new Queen, teens and social media, perspective shifts, how to get ahead

That Differential Moment

There’s a huge advantage granted to those who manage to speed up when everyone is slowing down. Pushing extra hard in jiu jitsu when you sense your opponent is wearing down, vying for a promotion at work and hitting that hustle when everyone’s checking out, planning a war siege at 4am when enemy troops are in their deepest sleep.

There is that differential moment and it seems to exist at the deepest recesses of will power, manifested purely in one’s mind as an idea that can blossom into fruition with pure grit. It’s there, you just got to dig deep.

Perspective is everything

Perspectives makes subtle things obvious. Tilt your head, you’re looking at something new. Listen to someone’s thoughts, you can change your mind about anything. Make some progress every day, even small progress, and when you look back, your pers

Think about the end of your life, looking back in time. How do you want the people you love to remember you? That’s another perspective shift and one that can change your whole vision, your whole purpose, your whole life.
