I went skiing with my boy
My older son went skiing this past weekend and it was beautiful. He was doing the french fries (straight skis) when he wanted to go faster and pizza/snowplow for slowing down and braking. Of course he was held back by a harness and the strength of my thoroughly-exhausted quad muscles.

He picked himself up and got right back to skiing down the mountain. He went to the top of the mountain several times. I’m a proud dad.
