This week is tech week
This week is tech week and I’m royally swamped (hence the brief email). Today I attended FutureFest and yesterday I was at an AI Tinkerers workshop. The AI Tinkerers event was fun, had good food, and gave me a chance to network with some like-minded builders. Here’s the post on LinkedIn.
A podcast I found intriguing
Jack Carr, famous author of the Terminal List series, runs a podcast called Danger Close. He recently interviewed Larry Serra, a former Naval Intelligence Liaison Officer “whose covert missions along the Vietnam-Cambodia border placed him at the heart of one of the Vietnam War’s most dangerous fronts”. Fascinating life stories.

What I’m building
I started building a raised garden bed, 4’x10′. It’s pretty solid. I’ll share more, including photos, when it’s done.
Something my wife and I did together
My wife and I hosted a small group from our church for couples who want to maximize their marriage and we had our final meeting this week. It was a great turnout with couples who really want to grow together.
We followed Biblical Wisdom for a Maximum Marriage and the book was a hit among our group. The book was based largely on the book Proverbs of the Bible, discussed real-life scenarios and offered actionable next-step tactics for growing together in marriage. I recommend it!
